**We are looking for a Solutions Architect who will be looking to work with complex problem-solving challenges and be able to take on responsibility, working with talented engineers and delivering world class solutions**

Our client is a rapidly growing InsureTech scale up, they have doubled in size within the last 12 months and are looking repeat this again within the next 18months.

They are looking to bring in an exceptional Solutions Architect / Technical Architect to join them at a very exciting time of rapid growth. Their teams work in an agile manner, and you will work closely with Engineers, Product team, Solution Architect, CTOand CPO.

Technologies: C#/.NET, Cosmos DB, SQL Server, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes and Azure.

**The Solutions Architect will be responsible for**:

- Producing designs for moderately sized platform features spanning several services
- De-risking projects by leading the development of proof-of-concept solutions for the engineering teams to build upon
- Driving standards in the Engineering department around usability, performance, scalability and security
- Supporting platform-wide technical initiatives
- Mentoring and developing engineers, enabling them to adopt industry best practices
- Building on the operational capabilities of the platform, helping to achieve cloud-scale reliability and robustness

**The Solutions Architect will need to have some of the following**:

- Experience of working on and operating large scale, distributed systems
- Strong hands-on, full-stack development experience at Technical Lead/Staff/Principal level or above, ideally for at least three years
- The ability to investigate, critically analyse and prototype solutions for complex technical problems
- Extensive experience in using and critically analysing offerings from one (or more) of the major public clouds
- A quality and continuous improvement mindset - it isn’t enough that we build solutions, but that they are built the best way
- Leadership skills and the ability to mentor high-performing engineers
- Strong communication skills: you should be comfortable communicating any technical opportunities and/or challenges at a level appropriate for your audience

**Along with a very generous base salary of £90,000 to £120,000 for this remote working role (or hybrid working if preferred, with a hub in London) our client also has the following benefits package**:
