**The Role**

We are seeking a professional and friendly **Hotel Receptionist** to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in ensuring their stay is welcoming and enjoyable. This position requires excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Guest Check-in & Check-out**: Ensure a smooth and efficient arrival and departure process for all guests.
- **Customer Service**: Provide a warm and professional welcome, assisting guests with inquiries and requests to enhance their experience.
- **Reservations & Bookings**: Manage room reservations, process payments, and update booking systems accurately.
- **General Reception Duties**: Maintain the reception area to a high standard, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- **Liaison with Other Departments**: Work closely with housekeeping, restaurant, and management teams to meet guest needs effectively.

**Key Requirements**
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (hotel or hospitality experience preferred).
- A **smart and professional appearance**.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong **customer service skills** with a friendly and welcoming personality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel booking systems (training provided if needed).
- A flexible approach to working shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Shifts from 0800 - 2000 on a rota basis
