**Asset and Industry Test Lead**:
**Join EDF within the smart metering Asset Management team as an Asset and Industry Test Lead and ensure the delivery of smart metering devices into pilot.**
You’ll provide regular reporting on the performance of the test team and performance improvement initiatives and will be required to build strong working relationships with metering and In Home display manufacturers, along with asset financiers.
Day to day, you will act as the central point of reference for technical and testing related industry bodies, attending meetings and ensuring key information to disseminated into the business and acted upon.
The role will require you to engage and present to senior stakeholders on a number of technical areas and be seen as the point of reference for all matters relating to the testing team and industry technical forums.

**The opportunity**:
As an Asset and Industry Test Lead, you will ensure that all new smart metering devices/firmware that EDF wish to deploy have been tested in accordance with the test strategy and also work with the Asset Into Service team to ensure that all new to market smart metering devices (Inc firmware updates) and the onboarding of new manufacturers are managed into service in a controlled manner and in line with business requirements.
You’ll provide regular performance and industry reporting to key stakeholders to ensure EDF is compliant at all times and has sufficient sight of any proposed industry changes that impact EDF and its Customers.
The role is to provide a robust conduit between EDF and the Industry with respect to Smart Metering Technical matters.
**What we’re looking for**:
Being an Asset and Industry Test Lead at EDF means you’ll have experience of managing a test team within a dynamic environment and managing differing priorities and delivery timescales. You’ll also have strong evidence of working with third parties and have excellent senior management stakeholder skills.
We’re looking for someone with 5-10 years smart metering and industry experience who is ideally technically qualified to degree level.
