**The Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity is available at our Sun Haven Holiday Park in Mawgan Porth, Newquay for a Maintenance & Grounds Team Member. This is a permanent full time role paying £10.00 per hour that will involve duties such as:

- Design and upkeep planning and planting of park planters and bedding areas, together with pruning and maintenance of plants, hedges, shrubs and trees to seasonal schedules
- Ensuring park grounds, bins, bin bays and public areas are free from litter and loose debris and roadsides, car parks and public areas are swept and blown clean at all times
- Watering of hanging baskets, hayracks and summer bedding
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety (risk assessments, PPE, accident reporting, etc) is paramount with all work undertaken
- Assisting in the moving and siting of holiday homes
- Maintain and repair all fencing, trellis work, walls and signage, etc
- Completing daily site walks and having active guest interaction
- Completing aftersales checks and repairs as required
- Ensuring you have excellent site knowledge including facilities, opening times, food vendor dates and times

We are looking for someone who has experience in designing and planning annual and routine maintenance and gardening tasks, who enjoys interaction with guests and is a real self-motivator. Plumbing experience would be advantageous.
