Robert Half are working with an Animal Charity to help with the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant.

**Salary: £30,000 per annum**

**The Role**:

- Bank reconciliations
- Managing the purchase ledger, including preparation of payment runs, reconciliation of supplier statements, working closely with suppliers and linking of all supplier invoices to Xero
- Managing the sales ledger, including posting sales invoices, allocating customer receipts and performing credit control
- Assisting with monthly payroll, including RTI submissions and pensions
- Recording and paying employee and volunteer expenses
- Liaising with various managers and their departments to ensure receipt and integrity of financial documentation for accurate posting to Xero
- Preparing accruals and prepayments for month end
- Assisting in managing Balance Sheet Control Accounts
- Assisting in preparation of Management Accounts, forecasting and budgets, including investigation of variances
- Assisting with reconciliation of sales reports from Epos system and recording in Xero
- Assisting with regular stock takes across physical and online stores and preparation of data for stock accounting in Xero.
- Assisting with maintaining project accounting and reports
- Maintaining Fixed Asset Register in Xero and monthly depreciation run.
- Assisting with implementation of process improvements and new financial controls.
