Junior Accountant

We are supporting our client to recruit a Junior Accountant provide support to UK Business. On a day to day basis you will provide support the accounting team and more specifically the Management Accountant.

The client is a UK Based manufacturing business who provides building solutions to organisations across the UK.

**Description**

As the Junior Accountant:

- Assisting with month end and year end accounts
- Preparing month end journals, including maintaining prepayment schedules
- Stock valuation
- Payroll analysis and reconciliations
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Conducting internal audits of trade depots
- Reviewing purchase invoices, checking for accuracy and consistency of allocation
- Monitoring, reconciling and posting of inter-company transactions
- Assisting with Annual Audit
- Providing support to Group Reporting Accountant and the FP&A team
- Support Continuous Improvement activities across Finance
- Any other duties as requested by Group Reporting Accountant

**Profile**
- Experience with a Finance department
- Have or be studying AAT or ACCA/CIMA
- Knowledge of UK Accounting regulations

**Job Offer**
- Be Based in Pontypridd
- Receive £20,000 -£25,000 Per annum
