Look no further We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of children aged 4-11 years in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of the classroom, supporting the teacher and working closely with children to ensure their educational and emotional needs are met. Previous experience in childcare, education, health & social care, or related fields is highly desirable, as well as relevant qualifications and knowledge. This role requires punctuality, reliability, and full-time availability, as you will be working Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 3.30pm.
As a Teaching Assistant in the UK classroom, your responsibilities will be diverse and rewarding. You will provide individual support to children of all abilities, helping them to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential. You will assist with classroom management, resource preparation, and delivering small group activities. Additionally, you will work closely with children with additional needs, providing tailored support and promoting inclusion within the classroom.
This position is perfect for support workers, tutors, sports coaches or psychology graduates. It is also an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a real difference in the lives of children.
