Co-Educator - Join our Supportive Learning Community in Colchester

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Co-Educator to join our vibrant educational team in Colchester. As a Co-Educator, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to our students, fostering their academic growth, personal development, and overall well-being.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to assist in the delivery of a meaningful and inclusive curriculum.
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring their individualized goals are met.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and participation.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior support strategies, maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Support students in developing their social skills, self-esteem, and independence through structured activities and interactions.
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources, adapting them to meet the individual needs of students.
- Document and report student progress and concerns to teachers and support staff.
- Maintain open and effective communication with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children or young adults in an educational or similar setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of diverse learning needs and strategies to support students with individualized education plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students and supporting their growth and development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to the changing needs of students.
