Do you enjoy working on a one to one basis and small group work with children with specific educational needs?
We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work at one of our lovely schools in Castle Bromwich. This role is to work on a 1:1 basis with a child who has mild behaviour issues and ADHD. This is a full-time role and requires someone with previous experiencewith SEN children and must have good behaviour management.
The school pride themselves on being a lovely school to work in and they will support and nurture a persona career if they choose to work there.
This is the ideal role for someone who wants variety and flexibility in their new job.
*Level 3 qualification minimum
*Long term (an academic term or more) experience of working with children on a 1-1 basis
*SEN experience covering Autism and lower level ability
*Able to communicate and build rapport with the children you support
*Confident in communicating with the SENCO, leadership team and parents
*Passionate about working with SEN children & dedicated to helping them thrive and achieve targets set in line with their individual education plan's (IEP)
*Meticulous when it comes to completing IEP's to ensure everything is covered and the child's accomplishments are recorded and rewarded
