We are an innovative company with ambitious plans for growth, looking for an experienced and highly motivated Social Media Strategist to join our team and head up all aspects of our Social Media.
You'll play an essential role in establishing and growing our social media accounts in order to increase our online presence and assist our marketing and sales efforts.
Supporting the broader Marketing team, you will primarily be focused on developing social media strategy, producing and publishing content, analysing usage data, managing projects and supporting campaigns.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing a social media strategy and content plan that is consistent with the company’s brand identity.
- Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing posts, improving engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
- Collaborate with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
- Manage and maintain the day-to-day handling of all social media channels and community engagement across key platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter and additional channels that may be deemed relevant - adapting content to suit different channels
- Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
- Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
- Staying up to date on best practices, technologies and emerging trends in social media.

Required skills and qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate setting.
- Demonstrated experience as a Social Media Marketer or a Digital Media Specialist.
- Experience with presenting, creating, editing, and managing cross platform content.
- Thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
- Hands-on skills and knowledge of multiple social media platforms and awareness of current trends.
- Experience using various analytics software.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This full time role will be based at our headquarters in Fareham. Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm. 30 days of paid holiday each year. £24,000 - £28,000 p.a. depending on experience. You will also receive share options.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
