**ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER - ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for overseeing the expenses including and not restricted to utilities, purchases, maintenance, compliance, landlord payments.
- Manage, control, and organise the company's invoicing and payment processes, as well as financial transactions with suppliers.
- Verify invoices for accuracy and coordinate with suppliers to ensure discrepancies are rectified and refunds/ rebates are received.
- Reconcile processed entries, compare balances to reports and complete bank reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain historical records and database of suppliers as well as keep track of all payments and expenditures, such as purchase orders, invoices, statements, and so on.
- Maintain the finance inbox and handle all incoming payables-related queries.
- Compile data, analyse invoicing volumes, disbursed payments, and outstanding dues, forecast annual expenses and cash outflows, and generate monthly management reports.
- Monitor expenses in line with the budgets assigned. Identify, analyse, and propose remedial actions to mitigate variances between actual and approved budgets. Coordinate with team members within the company to implement and monitor strategies and actions to ensure variances are minimised
- Prepare expense-related performance dashboards based on key performance indicators (KPIs) assigned for various business models within the company.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible rates and payment terms for related expenses wherever possible in order to manage cash flows efficiently.
- Assist the finance manager in the preparation of expense-related budgets, KPIs and profitability projections for various business models or tender proposals.
- Proactively monitor changes in industry trends that have an impact on future expenses and cash flows for management review and action
