**Position Overview**:

If you are a friendly, innovative and motivated coach, who loves to see children learn and have fun, we want you to be part of our team As a lead coach, you will play a pivotal role in deigning, coordinating and delivering quality first sessions. Your passion for sport and commitment to inspiring the next generation will be instrumental in creating a positive and impactful experience in engaging the children in the world of sport.

**Your Role**:
Session Planning: Plan and deliver well-planned, respectful and safe sessions that are both educational and fun for children aged 2-11 within Nurseries, Primary Schools and Holiday Clubs.

School Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with nurseries and primary schools. Collaborate with teaching staff to organise and schedule programmes.

Student Engagement: Create a respectful and safe learning environment, that promotes active student participation and fosters a love for sport. Encourage involvement in activities, clubs and events.

**Requirements**:

- Coaching Skills/ Qualifications: A level 2 sports coaching qualification or a specific sports badge will showcase your expertise.
- Team Player: You can work well with others and you understand that great coaching is a team effort
- Communication: You have good communication skills to allow you to effectively communicate with parents, guardians and stakeholders.
- Infectious Passion: You show so much enthusiasm towards your job that the children look up to you as a role model
- Adaptability: Rain or shine, you make every experience memorable
- Fun Factor: You know how to mix fun with learning so that the children can’t wait for the next session.
- Experience: Previous experience of delivering Coaching Sessions/PE lessons in Primary Schools is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

**Experience**:

- Sports coaching: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence with use of own vehicle (required)
- NGB Level 2 sports coaching qualification (required)
- Paediatric First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Enhanced DBS (required)

Work Location: On the road
