**The role / duties**:
Supporting the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for operations in the housekeeping department, ensuring the standards of cleaning and presentation are maintained throughout the hotel.

As Deputy Head Housekeeper you will be required to carry out a range of tasks including:

- Allocating daily tasks and responsibilities to the housekeeping team.
- Supervision and motivation of the housekeeping team.
- Checking standards of cleaning and presentation throughout the hotel in accordance with company standards.
- Maintaining a close working relationship with other departments.
- Maintaining housekeeping records.
- Ordering of supplies and equipment.

We are a small team so you will be required to cover shortages and assist in all areas of housekeeping, this will include; cleaning a section, covering breakfast service and assisting with deep cleaning tasks.

- The ability to multitask and the drive to see things completed with the required attention to detail.
- Be a team player, ready and willing to assist your colleagues in all departments.
- The ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Competency in all areas of housekeeping operations.

**Previous Experience**:
Previous experience working as a Head Housekeeper, Deputy Housekeeper or Floor Supervisor in a similar hotel environment is essential.
