Allstaff Manufacturing Division require a Production Supervisor for one of our Key clients based in paisley.

This will be on a Nightshift basis, 10pm - 6am sunday to Thursday.

Salary will be dependent upon experience.

The role is to assist the Manager in ensuring the safe and operational efficiency of day to day production which guarantees optimum performance, achieving all production KPI’s, and fulfil customer demands whilst ensuring all company procedures and compliances (both internal and external) are fully met. The Production Supervisor will also work with the Manager, on a variety of projects related to ongoing organisational improvements including, but not limited to, Health and Safety, Quality, Workplace Organisation, Environmental and Sustainability

The role:
Embed H&S culture of zero tolerance ensuring the policy is fully understood, owned and implemented by every individual - ensuring machine operators have set up machines correctly and all pre-shift safety checks have been carried out and recorded
- Promote the use of TCards for near miss and hazard reporting
- ensuring appropriate feedback and recognition to operators.
- Implement the actions identified through internal and external audits (including health & safety and quality inspections) and ensure they are completed in a timely manner
- Manage all internal and external regulatory compliances and guidelines as set out by health & safety, quality and environmental requirements
- Ensure all prescribed quality checks are carried out by machine operators, to ensure product quality is not compromised
- Supervise to execute the production plan, communicating and highlighting any risk to OTIF to Production Manager at earliest opportunity
- Takes ownership of POD information recording monitoring and improving KPIs
- Create an open and honest culture of communications between management and factory employees, always aligned to our core values
- Deliver optimum results by creating a can-do attitude through motivating and encouraging employees
- The performance management of team leaders and operators required with the support of HR, e.g. absence management, lateness
- Handling holiday / absence requests and identifying any labour shortages to the Cutting Manager
- Liaising with Maintenance Department to ensure plant and machinery is kept in full working order, ensuring job requests are logged on maintain
