Orka Financial is partnering with a successful business based in Newbury who is looking to recruit an Accounts and Payroll Manager to support and supervise the accounts and payroll team members, you will be overseeing the daily running of the department.

**Duties**
- Managing the payroll team to perform weekly payroll procedures for temporary workers, in line with multiple external & internal deadlines.
- Dealing with queries and escalations.
- Providing the Senior Leadership team with analysis and reports on sales & payroll data.
- Checking and auditing the validity of payroll data in line with government regulations.
- Developing and refining existing payroll procedures.
- Supervising the work of the existing accounts team and maintaining an oversight of sales ledger and credit control procedures.
- Liaising with external accountants on the production of monthly management accounts, VAT returns and year end accounts audits.
- Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation of financial statements and reports.
- General accounts duties

**Requirements**:

- AAT Level 2/3/4
- Strong relationship builder
- Quickbooks knowledge
- Double entry bookkeeping

Salary £35,000 - £38,000
