Company Details and Job Overview:
An experienced Finance Manager/Head of Finance is required to join a privately owned manufacturing and e-commerce business in Kendal. With a current turnover in the region of £10m, the business is growing rapidly and is regarded as a market leader in theirarea of operation.

Your New Role as Finance Manager/Head of Finance:
This is a number 1 finance position, leading all finance activities whilst being a key player in business strategy and growth initiatives. Reporting to the Directors of the business, you will oversee a small team of high calibre transitional accounts staffwho are competent in their roles. Specific responsibilities will include:

- Monthly management accounts production including analysis and commentary
- Cash flow management
- Production of budgets and forecasts
- Leading the year end accounting process, being the primary point of contact for auditors
- VAT returns
- Reviewing existing processes and enhancing these where necessary
- Providing strategic support and business planning
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The successful individual will be experienced in the above duties, ideally with knowledge of manufacturing accounting processes. You will be comfortable with high transaction volumes and be a competent Excel user (pivots and lookups). Knowledge of the PegasusOpera system is highly advantageous and you will demonstrate strong communication skills with good business partnering ability.
