We are looking to offer a **Maintenance Controller** the opportunity to join our expanding **Northern Operations team** based in **Castleford.**

This will be a **fixed term contract for nine months, **with the potential to be extended.

**About your team**

Our team has grown rapidly and we are responsible for the supply and management of specialist equipment and vehicles, supplying the Water, Energy, Transport, Data and Telecommunication sectors.

You will ensure that planned maintenance events are managed in accordance with current Service Level Agreements and that the business delivers a “best in class” customer experience.

**As the Maintenance Controller, you’ll get the opportunity to**:

- Support with the scheduling of statutory inspections, examinations, calibrations and service events, for all Plant & Vehicles
- You'll ensure that “best cost solutions” are adopted for the provision of all maintenance events
- Contact customers to arrange and book compliance and service events, including MOT’s
- Process defect reports following a scheduled event and arrange remedial repairs as required
- Processing recharges in accordance with SLA’s
- Book external repairers and raising/processing PO’s for your nominated contracts.
- Support the breakdown team during busy periods

**What you’ll bring?**
- Experience in a similar role within the plant and fleet sector
- Strong commitment to delivering high standards of customer service
- Able to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
- Able to use a number of internal systems, so you got good IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Fleet Maintenance related software would be an advantage however training will be provided
