We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality and Governance Officer to join our team on full-time basis. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, working remotely with occasionally working at our base in the center of Oxford.

Reporting to the Quality and Standards Manager the post-holder will take the lead in managing key aspects of the quality and governance team processes and projects delivered with services across the Directorate.

The post-holder will be responsible for providing effective, efficient and comprehensive administrative and organisational support to the Quality & Governance team. This includes responsibility for the coordination of routine and ad hoc reporting, safety metrics, action planning, maintenance and updating of databases through regular contact with a wide range of services and staff.

The Quality and Governance team is a small close-knit team that are well-established in the Primary, Community and Dental Services. The team support services in Oxfordshire with all aspects of clinical governance, such as patient experience, audit and NICE.

The role is to be the co-ordination point for the Quality & Governance Team, supporting the implementation of projects, audits, NICE, performance, and quality monitoring, assisting in the incident management process, reporting and improvement. The post holder will be required to effectively manage their own workload, prioritising multiple tasks appropriately to meet the needs of the Trust, the Directorate and associated deadlines.

**The post holder will be responsible for**:

- Coordinating and providing administrative support to the Clinical audit and patient experience programmes;
- Work closely with the Quality and Clinical Standards Facilitators and Managers to ensure the incident management and patient feedback management processes are maintained;
- Assisting in the preparation of Safety Metrics, projects, reports, surveys, statistics etc. Using computer-based data entry systems to collate and enter appropriate data to support the work of the team, producing reports including graphs.
- Maintaining and regularly updating information on quality and clinical governance databases from the Directorate service managers and teams; and working in conjunction with the Quality & Governance team to review these databases and communications back to the services. Identify and escalate queries and outliers. E.g., maintaining the discharge spread sheet, support with Pathway High Risk Incident Trackers;
- Ensuring effective, proactive and comprehensive administration support to the overall team.
- Ensure the data is populated in a timely manner to ensure constantly up to date and reminders are actioned by the team.
- Compiling and distributing internal and external communications.
- Developing, updating, and maintaining safety and quality project plans including the GDPR dataflows and quality account priorities.
- Developing and supporting Directorate intranet web pages.
