They currently have a finance team of 12 with this particular role reportinginto the Accounts Payable Manager. Their business is split across 14 subsidiaries which spans across the globe. They are well known in the local area for being a progressive business that supports their employees to fulfil their potential. They offer a hybridworking function which they have found to increase their output

**Description**

The successful Senior Accounts Payable Controller - Global Business will be responsible for:

- Verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers by analysing invoices
- Paying employees by receiving and verifying expense reports
- Maintaining accounting ledgers
- Reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- Re-posts sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices
- Paying vendors
- Scheduling and preparing checks
- resolving purchase orders
- Investigating payment discrepancies
- Insuring credit is received
- Issuing stop payments or purchase order amendments

**Profile**

The successful Senior Accounts Payable Controller - Global Business will:

- Have a minimum of 3 years Accounts Payable Experience
- Have ideally have experience of International ledgers (not essential)
- Excel Intermediate to Advance - Including Pivot tables and Vlookups
- AAT Qualified not essential
- A proactive attitude to work
- Personable
- Firm but fair approach to dealing with colleagues and their expenses
- Attention to detail
- A true self starter
- A team Player
- Strong communicator both written and verbal
