As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced, dynamic person to join our team in Meigh.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Stores Operations**
**Goods Receiving**: Efficiently receive and process deliveries from our suppliers. These include small to large volumes of high value components arriving into our warehouse on a near daily basis.
**Sorting and Labeling**: Accurately sort and label all items received, identifying and consolidating them relative to their respective customer sales orders, ensuring streamlined inventory management and sales order fulfilment.
**Inventory Management**: Receive and record all incoming deliveries on our ERP system, ensuring that we maintain up-to-date inventory records at all times, and manage our stock levels effectively.
**Warehouse Organisation**: Ensure that all stock is stored in an organised manner, maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment in order to support the Production Team, ensuring that their daily requirements for components are always met on time.
**Despatch**: Ensuring that our delivery teams leave with complete sales orders and the correct paperwork. Overseeing the accurate completion of despatch/delivery paperwork before delivery teams leave on their daily delivery rounds.
**Quality Control (QC)**:
**Order Verification**: Review and verify customer orders against pick/check sheets to ensure accuracy and completeness of each sales order prior to despatch.
**Issue Identification**: Identify and report to management any discrepancies, damages, or missing items for sales orders, ensuring timely resolution and on-time despatch.
**Documentation**:Complete and maintain detailed QC check sheets for each kitchen order, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
**Requirements**:
**Experience**:The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in controlling a busy warehouse environment, working within a team where maintaining high quality standards and achieving on-time deliveries is of paramount importance.
**IT Proficiency**: Familiarity with IT systems, particularly inventory management software is essential.
**Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and supplier liaison.
**Physical Capability**: Ability to handle and lift sometimes heavy components as required.
**Forklift Operation**: Willingness to obtain a forklift licence (training provided), or possession of a current license is an advantage.
