**Job Title: Residential Support Worker**

**Location**:
**Full Time: 40 Hours on weekly Rota (most sites on 2 on 4 off basis)**

**Salary: 21-23,000**

**What will you be doing**:

- Contributing to the young person’s care plans and risk assessments, their re
- view and implementation
- Forming effective relationships with young people, their families (if appropriate) and external agencies
- Ensuring the home is kept clean and in a tidy condition, adhering to the clean
- ing rota system, encouraging the young people to participate as appropriate
- Ensuring that good quality records are maintained as required with supervision and advice from shift and Managers.
- Maintaining and promoting residential care work to high levels of professional
- ism expected by the company and Ofsted
- Contributing to the educational and social development of each young person and assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Programs
- Meeting the emotional and physical needs of our young people and maximising opportunities for their development
- Providing support to the team leader, deputy manager and manager of the home whilst on shift and performing senior duties as directed

**Requirements**:

- experience working within a residential setting is beneficial but not a require
- ment
- Achieved your Level 3 Diploma (Residential Childcare) or equivalent / or working towards is desirable if not we will put you through this.
- Ability to interact with a range of people/young people
- To be able to provide consistency of care and support to the young people
- Experience working with children who may display challenging behaviour
- Shift work including weekends, evenings, and sleep-in duties on a rota system
- Full driving licence is essential

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
