**The hotel**

The Dixon, Tower Bridge, a boutique style hotel part of Autograph Collection Hotels opened its doors in late 2018. Taking centre stage in the Tower Bridge neighborhood on Tooley Street, The Dixon, Tower Bridge, Autograph Collection is the new cultural hub for the capital’s centre of artistic activity. It is an award-winning property, selected as** Luxury Hotel of the Year 2024**by Travel Hospitality Awards.
- Named after John Dixon Butler, the architect who originally constructed the building in 1905 as a Magistrates Court and police station, the hotel takes inspiration from the area’s vibrant cultural heritage, while also capturing its new wave of creative cool.
- The 193 rooms will redefine the traditional boutique hotel by seamlessly incorporating the local neighborhood's culture through an artful mix of heritage design. Think simple brickwork, tall windows and modern furniture from British designers that will sit alongside more classic pieces, whilst curated artworks from local artists will hang on the walls.

Our **Shakedown** restaurant offers a delicious menu taking Italian influences, traditional flavours and fresh British produce. It reflects its surroundings, combining timeless classics with modern flavours in cicchetti concept serving pizza, pasta and prosecco.

**Key responsibilities**

Memories of a special food beverage experience come from many places. The sights, sounds, scents and, importantly, service. Within this role you'll welcome our guests, recommend food and drink, make their choice of beverage and help ensure a seamless experience.

By tailoring each guest's experience to their unique tastes, you'll create memories as delightful as the dishes and drinks you'll serve.

You’ll be responsible for manging your own section and taking and delivering orders within this. Additionally you’ll work as part of a larger team, support your peers when they require assistance and ensure all pre/post shift duties are completed in our Shakedown Restaurant and Cafe or Courtroom bar.

**About You**
- Experience within a similar environment/role for at least a year with a service-focused approach
- You'll have a passion for customer service, with your own unique flare, and a ‘can-do' attitude
- Ability to remain calm and work under pressure
- High standards of cleanliness with a smart professional appearance
- Proactive and organised, flexible adaptable to complete routine and non-routine tasks
- The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
