We are looking for a variety of Hospital Ward Catering Assistants to join our team at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford Kent. Hospital Ward Catering Assistants provide an essential service delivering on housekeeping and cleaning duties, and providing catering and customer services to patients in clinical areas.

The role of a Hospital Ward Catering Assistants requires excellent communication skills, motivation, and strong customer service skills. The position has the ability to have a real impact on the patient experience, and focuses on providing exemplary services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for delivery of housekeeping, cleaning, catering and customer services to an agreed standard within agreed clinical areas
- Take patients’ meal orders
- Serve patient beverages
- Change patient water jugs
- Serve patient meals
- Clear and clean area after meals
- Ensure kitchen/serving areas and all associated equipment are clean and tidy at all times
- Stack and empty dishwasher
- Undertake cleaning tasks as per ward cleaning schedule (not sanitary)
- Movement/distribution of clean linen supplies within wards
- Complying with 2gether Support Solutions policies on Health & Safety, COSHH and other statutory legislationWe are looking for a varitey of Hospital Ward Catering Assistants to join our team at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford Kent.
