**Job Title: Senior Children’s Care Worker**

**Salary: Up to £29,198.00 per annum, including annual sleep in allowance and dependant on experience plus welcome bonus of £500 and *another £500 once you pass your probation (minimum six months)**

**Location: Telford Region**

**Hours: 40 hours per week - 2 days on, 4 days off shift pattern**

**Essential: A full driving licence, and the Right to Work in the UK**

Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Senior Children Care Workers to join our teams within the Telford region. Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)and Complex Needs.

The homes are **based in Telford region,**and are within commutable distance from Nantwich, Whitchurch, Telford, Shifnal and surrounds

**Contracts available - Full Time Days**

**Who we are looking for**:

- Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children Young People and Families Practitioner, or NVQ equivalent.
- At least 1 year’s hands on experience in a similar residential environment.
- People with a big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives
- Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging
- Be patient, resilient and calming
- Willingness to learn about the children and young people we support, and how to support them to reach their full potential
