Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Senior Care Practitioners to join our teams within the Shropshire area.

Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.

The homes are based in the Newport region**, **and are within commutable distance from Nantwich, Whitchurch, Telford, Shrewsbury, Shifnal and surrounds

Our residential homes are friendly and fun, and though there are challenges too, everything we do is dedicated to creating rewarding experiences - for those we look after and for everyone in our team

**Our next Senior Residential Support Worker will be someone who has:**
- **Mandatory**: Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children Young People and Families Practitioner qualified or NVQ equivalent.
- At least 1 year’s hands on experience in a similar residential environment.
- A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.
- Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging.
- Patience, resilience, and calmness.
- Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs.
- Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care.
