The Role

The role is for a Health and Safety Coordinator working for a market leading manufacturer of precision engineered and fabricated components. You will be responsible for providing administration, risk assessment & oversight to the Health & Safety department to ensure compliance across the site.
- Ensuring Health & Safety regulations are always upheld and adhered to.
- Responsible for policy management, training & reporting, regulatory compliance administration. Providing insight and actively challenging/coaching leadership team on decisions.
- Ensure Group execution of health and safety & risk management systems. This should include business continuity planning across the site.
- Conducting internal H&SE audits and risk assessments.
- Develop, lead, & coordinate short, medium and long-term activities and preventative strategies/programs to enhance the SHE culture, reduce site risk, drive well-being & engagement for site.
- Provide advice and support for incident escalation, investigation, analysis and follow-up. Analyse accident / site incident / risk patterns. Translating risk data and losses into actionable insights.
