Corporate Facilities Services are a national provider of Cleaning, Security and Support Services specialising in shopping centre facilities management and customer service.

We currently have a vacancy for permanent Part Time Weekend Security Guard at The Brooks Shopping Centre, Winchester.

The position will be every Saturday 0800 - 18:30 and Sunday 0900 - 1800

The wage rate for this position is £14.50 per hour.

Duties will include but not limited to: locking/unlocking of the complex, completing site patrols, manning the office/CCTV monitoring, assisting the sites customers and tenants, supporting the centre management team. Patrolling the site regularly.

Full training and uniform provided.

Overtime available.

**Duties**:

- Patrol and monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
- Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed.

**Experience**:

- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position.
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
- Familiarity with report writing.
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
- Trained in CCTV operation. (Preferable but not essential)

Please note that this position may require working evening, overnight, or weekend shifts.
