**Claims Handler (Trainee) - Belfast - Permanent**
- £Negotiable salary
- Hybrid working option
- 35 hours per week Monday to Friday; 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m

**Duties**:
- Take notifications of new claims
- Ensure the efficient progress of all claims
- Advise and direct clients on how to proceed with their claim
- Ensure accurate instructions are sent on behalf of designated insurance companies
- To instruct suppliers on behalf of designated insurance companies
- Investigate, negotiate and settle designated motor damage claims on behalf of clients
- To ensure all data is collected and recorded accurately
- Ensure brokers systems are updated accurately
- Recovery of claims payments
- Dealing with enquiries from insurance brokers, insurance companies, policyholders and other clients
- Preparation of documentation
**Criteria**:
- 5 GCSE’s at grades C or above to include Maths and English (or equivalent)
- 2 A level passes or equivalent at grades C or above
- Experience of working within a customer focused environment along with excellent customer service skills
- Experience of working within a fast-paced office environment
- Ability to handle high volumes of telephone calls
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills
