Location: Solihull

**Salary**: £26,000 - £30,000 ( dependant on skills and experience) with the ability to achieve £34,600

Working week: 37.5 hours on a rotating shift pattern AM/PM

A need has arisen for a Paint Sprayer to join the team based at our Solihull Head Office on a permanent, full-time basis.

**The duties of this role will include**:

- Spraying commercial vehicles to a high quality finish
- Preparing vehicles for the paint process
- General paint shop duties including paint mixing
- Carrying out maintenance tasks within the booths
- Carrying out touch up duties when required
- Ensure high quality standards and safe working practices
- Rework as required
- Any other ad hoc duties

**Skills**:

- Extensive spraying experience is essential
- Experience in commercial vehicle paint spraying is preferable
- Experience in using various paint systems including epoxy primers, high solid top coats, base and clear coats
- Good housekeeping
- Ability to use PPE as directed
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to achieve targets and cope well under pressure
- Experience of working in a busy paint shop environment
- A good understanding of Health and Safety regulations
- Knowledge of blast cleaning, either manual or automatic blast cleaning would be advantageous, but full training will be given.
