**Interim Head of FP&A**

An interim role up to 6months with market leading invest management group with a focus on ethical impact investing.
**Team and role overview**
- The Finance team is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, investment accounting and valuation, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

**Purpose**

**Responsibilities**
- Lead commercial insights and analysis for the Group, having an in-depth understanding of company and investment performance
- Build and develop the FP&A function, team, processes and analytical tools
- Ensure high quality and timely monthly and quarterly management information and KPIs
- Lead the annual forecast and budget process, communicating timely guidance to all stakeholders
- Working alongside the strategy team, provide financial insight to development of 5 year forecasts and other longer-term projections
- Managing the FP & A Analyst Team, providing leadership and direction ensuring they are engaged, focused, developed and delivering their potential
- Provide any ad-hoc reporting requested by the CFO and ExCo members
- Ensure external data surveys, Parliamentary Questions and Freedom of Information Act requests are responded to accurately and on time
- Develop a successful, integrated partnership with the Finance team to ensure well-coordinated reporting processes and aligned reporting
- Establish internal and external benchmarking processes
- Continuously develop and improve management information and tools to drive better decision making

**Background, skills, aptitude**
- Qualified accountant with 5+ years FP&A experience, preferably in a large organisation with established internal reporting and analysis processes
- Leadership skills and the ability to effect change in a fast-evolving environment
- Financial services experience is preferred
- Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships at senior levels within the organisation, an excellent level of written English and the ability to distil data into succinct PowerPoint presentations
- Expert Excel knowledge with advanced financial modelling skills
- Ability to solve complex problems creatively and proactively
