**TEAM**

**Job Purpose**
- Reporting to the Vetting and ID Team Leader, this role is responsible for ensuring that all new hires, existing employee renewals and internal transfers are quickly, accurately and thoroughly screened in line with requirements for their role with easyJet
- The Vetting and ID Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all easyJet, Airport Authority and Department for Transport compliance requirements and policies are met
- To support the Vetting and ID Team leadership in identifying improvements in the Vetting and ID Process
- To help the team maintain consistently high levels of service and compliance through Quality Control activity

**Accountabilities**
- Chase outstanding references and information and close out any discrepancies and gaps
- Support colleagues or Third Parties with any questions they may have or guidance they need
- Ensure Airside passes are quickly arranged and that the hires are able to start their roles
- Recommending options where someone doesn’t meet the referencing requirements
- Reporting on workstack progress as required
- Upload necessary information to the Airports, using the correct latest templates, and ensure Airside ID is processed quickly and effectively
- Understanding of and compliance with vetting standards to ensure references are included, correct and manage any issues with ID Vetting and Compliance Manager
- Collect all required identification and right to work information and verify identity
- Contributes to the management of Airport ID Centre rejections for full cycle continuous improvement by the wider team
- Updates the pro watch database as required
- As part of Quality Control, checks peers’ files, whether handled within easyJet or by Third Parties, to ensure they meet the stringent requirements for referencing checks
- Filing completed packs in the appropriate digital and physical formats

**Requirements of the Role**

**KEY SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Awareness of UK and EU Airside pass issue process and regulations
- Awareness of Aviation Security regulations in relation to the issue of airside passes
- Excellent customer service skills
- An understanding of ‘Insider Threat’ and the role this plays in the pass issue process
- Resilient and able to work under pressure, multitasking where necessary
- Methodical approach with ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Well organised with the ability to work on own initiative to specific deadlines
- Ability to recognise and deal with challenges promptly and efficiently
- Experience of handling sensitive personal data
- Attention to detail
- High degree of IT literacy (Word / Excel)

**LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK**

This full time role will be based in H89 Luton Airport and will be 40 hours per week.
