CAN is a specialist civil engineering contractor working throughout the UK and abroad. Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit a **Reports Writer **to work within the Structures division, based at our head office in **Chesterfield,** Derbyshire (open to hybrid working).

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Producing clear and concise reports from site paperwork
- Checking site data to ensure accuracy and resolving any inconsistencies
- Ensuring that the reports are consistent with company standards and client requirements
- Liaising with colleagues and site personnel
- Maintaining stock of inspection equipment
- General administration work (e.g. scanning, printing)

**Key Skills**:

- Keen attention to detail
- Strong problem solving, deductive, and analytical abilities
- Ability to effectively organise and work with large amounts of data and prioritise time and tasks
- Excellent English language, literacy, and communication skills
- Computer literate (particularly using Microsoft Office)

**Desirable Skills (but not essential - training will be provided)**:

- AutoCAD skills
- Basic knowledge of construction
