Juice Personnel are delighted to be working alongside a much-loved charity in Wakefield to recruit a HR Administrator to join their team. To undertake the day-to-day HR administration across all areas of the employee lifecycle and support the administrative needs of their director. The role will report to the HR Manager.

**General Duties/Key Responsibilities**:
- Arrange meetings, take minutes and prepare papers for meetings
- Update absence records and create reports
- Produce HR reports using HR system and Excel
- Keep HR records up-to-date
- Provide general office cover responding to telephone calls & queries, signposting & referring up to other team members as required
- Support departmental processes and procedures advising where improvements could be made to ensure effective & efficient service provision
- Support HR project work as required to include researching information, updating documents, providing reports, preparing correspondence etc and providing regular feedback on progress
- Preparing & sending correspondence/information to employees/workers relating to their employment with the company & supporting managers with HR processes e.g., absence management
- Maintain the HR files and HR database
- Work with the admin team to cover all company meetings
- Support processes to ensure employee compliance including return/sign off of documentation/ policies & professional registration updates
- Input the payroll submission, salary review & benefits processes to ensure accurate & timely management
- Attending regular 121s, team meetings, absence reviews & appraisals with line manager
- Support FER Committee meetings include attend evening meeting monthly, send invites and papers, minute and send out
- Support FER meetings as required
- Adhoc admin for FER
- Payroll input and monthly checks
- Support the admin team for holidays and absence cover
- Act as an ambassador for the charity encouraging others to do the same

- Comply with all policies and procedures
- Undertake any other duties which may be reasonably required
- Adhere to all General Data Protection Regulations
**Essential Skill**:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other IT skills acquired through training and practical experience including internet/web skills
- Minimum of 3+ years admin experience
- Diary management skills / minute taking which includes high standard of grammar and spelling
- Understanding of the importance of & ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Good time management and attendance
- Calm and confident under pressure
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and help out if staff are on holiday
- Work to current guidelines
- Presentable appearance
- Reliable & trustworthy
**Desirable Skills**:
- ECDL
- NVQ 2 Business Admin
- Experience of working in an HR department
- Experience of using a database
- Experience of payroll
- Experience of working within a healthcare environment
- Commitment to Continuing Professional Development
- HR/payroll knowledge
