We are currently working in partnership with a prestigious primary school located in the Royal Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. The school is looking for a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team. This position is full-time (term-time only) and is to start as soon as possible.

**Speech and Language Teaching Assistant requirements**:

- Passion for working with young people who require additional support in order to access education and social development
- Previous experience (formal or informal) supporting children with speech and language communication needs or other special educational needs
- A proactive and positive individual who is always striving to meet children's learning needs.
- Ability to build rapport with children

**What you can expect as a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant**:

- Your role as a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant will be to assist with the delivery of speech and language programmes set by the SaLT
- For aspiring Teachers, Pastoral Workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, SALTs, Counsellors, and Social Workers, these positions will offer a relevant and vital experience for your chosen career path
- Continued Professional Development - SEND schools and APs are continually training their staff to help them support their children's needs, you will become an expert in your field
- You will have an opportunity to make a huge social impact, as a specialist SEN Teaching Assistant, you would change the path of a child's life.
