**Teaching Assistant - Twickenham**

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful school located in Twickenham As a Teaching Assistant you will be required to support students who have SEN needs in Primary or Secondary. This Teaching Assistant position is for an immediate startand you will be required to support pupils in different classes throughout the course of the school day so it is essential that you have a adaptable and flexible attitude.

Ideally you have previous experience within a school setting as a Teaching Assistant but you must have previous experience working with SEN children in some form of capacity.

**The Role**
- Support and look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare as a Teaching Assistant
- Create a stimulating and safe environment for the pupils as a Teaching Assistant
- Able to provide a safe and healthy environment and follow safeguarding procedures as a Teaching Assistant
- Working with students who have SEN needs in Primary or Secondary
- As a Teaching Assistant you will be required to work 1:1 with children throughout the day to ensure their needs are met

**Requirements**:

- Available immediately and able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm
- Ideally have previous experience with SEN children in some capacity though the key is to have a bright and bubbly personality towards helping all children
- Need to have patience and sensitivity in order to attend to children's needs as a Teaching Assistant
- Ability to build good working relationships with both pupils and adults as a Teaching Assistant
- Either live in Twickenham, or within a commutable distance

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
