**£320 - £340 - per week**

Masterclass are dedicated to providing our schools with the staffing they require. We are currently working with a **generic special needs primary school** in the Worthing area who are looking for classroom assistants to join their team. You will be joining a team where everyone is valued and progression is always at the forefront, before you start your new role you will be provided with online training all CPD recognised and further training will be provided in role.

**This role is long-term (full academic year) full time (Monday to Friday) the hours are 8.30am to 15.30pm, this role can become permanent**.

This role will be based in a complex class with around 8-10 young learners, you will have full support from the class teacher and around 3 classroom assistants. This role could be in a small groups or 1-1, previous experience is an advantage but not essential.

You will be supporting these young learners with a curriculum that is designed around their abilities, with a high focus on valuable life skills. The students in this class do require personal care which must be handled professionally.

**Must have**:

- Ability to adapt to new environments
- Have a DBS on the Updates Service - or be willing to obtain one
- Patience and positive attitude
- Commitment to safeguarding of students

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Worthing, West Sussex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
