**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and engage with children in a after schools setting, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
- Manage daily routines including meals, naps, and playtime while maintaining a structured environment.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the area to ensure a safe play environment.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
- Level 2 in Early Years or Level 3 Early Years or Playwork (is essential)
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine love for working with children and understanding their needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Valid driving licence preferred but not mandatory.

*Additional hours available.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £10.00-£12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
