Receptionist / Purchase Ledger Administrator

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled and efficient receptionist/administrator to join a highly regarded building contractors based in Helensburgh.
The basic job function of the role is to provide an efficient and effective reception service to the business, acting as the first point of contact for any queries, and also to provide proactive administration support to the office, ensuring all requests are actioned in a timely manner whilst maintaining accuracy.
Key Duties
- Meeting and greeting all visitors
- Answer the telephone professionally and deal with enquiries accordingly.
- Proactively manage the diary for the office, highlighting appointments to those concerned
- Ensure any post and banking is dealt with promptly
- Carry out general housekeeping in the office
- Prepare letters and documents as directed
- Design and maintain spreadsheets (that include formulas) that assist business process and reporting procedures
- Assist the accounts payable department when necessary
- Maintain the purchase order register and files, ensuring the process is adhered to and all records are accurately maintained and tied up with delivery notes
- Monitor the plant hire on sites and ensure the incoming invoices are reflective of the current status
- Responsible for any adhoc administrative tasks connected with company vehicles, fuel cards, invoices, wage slips, training or any other project that has been delegated
- General office admin duties
Experience Required
Essential
- Solid administration experience gained over a period of at least 2 years
- Experience of working in a reception gained over a period of at least 2 years
- Experience of answering and dealing with a high volume of phone calls
Desirable
- Experience of using Sage Line 50 accounts package
- Experience of using Sage Construct package
**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
