**The role**
As a Training Support Team Leader, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll help deliver an effective Training Support function to the Astute Class Training Service (ACTS) ensuring that all administration of the Service is conducted in accordance with the contractual requirement.

Day to day, you’ll manage a small team of 3 (1 receptionist and 2 trainee support administrators), allocate work to your team as required, manage the data bases that holds the training records ensuring they are up to date, manage configuration control of ACTS Courseware Training Documentation Libraries and Training Quality Management System.
- Plan, coordinate and manage all Training administration activities relevant to the Training Programme.
- Manage Management Application Tools/Databases (Joint Personnel Administration system (JPA), Training and Financial Management Information System (TAFMIS).
- Acts as the TAFMIS Manager (including being the TAFMIS Data Champion)
- Provide Project and administrative support to Programme Management

**Essential experience of the Training Support Team Leader**:

- IT competent in Microsoft packages (including Word/Excel)
- Proven experience in database management
- Effective stakeholder and customer relationship management
- Experience in supervising and developing a team
- Good understanding of SharePoint and information Management principles and practices

This is a full time role based on site in Faslane, Helensburgh.
