We are currently looking for an **Embroidery Machine Operative **to join our team. You'll be responsible for managing the workflow of garments through the embroidery process, ensuring timely completion of orders. **Main duties include**: - Ensure efficient workflow, timely completion of orders, and adherence to quality standards. - Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and customer requirements. - Address any quality issues promptly. - Ensure equipment is in optimal condition for efficient production. - Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement. - Implement best practices to improve productivity. **Skills and experience needed**: **Essential**: - Previous demonstrable experience as an embroidery machine operator - Knowledge of garment printing techniques - Must be able to demonstrate ability to manage conflicting priorities and be flexible, adaptable to change - Experience of embracing continuous improvement initiatives - Ability to be calm under pressure and be able to multi-task **Desirable**: - Previous experience of working with Tajima Machines - Wilcom software, design and editing - Working in the schoolwear industry - Clean driving licence - WMS experience **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: £10.42 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - embroidery machine operator: 2 years (required) Work authorisation: - United Kingdom (required) Work Location: In person
