**Support Worker role**:
As a member of the team, you would be supporting people at a point in their lives where having a skilled and caring worker is needed, this could be in a person’s own home at various times of the day or week, in a short-term crisis, a longer-term recovery approach or in a settled home. Whatever the setting where support is delivered, this will be driven by making sure we work with people’s strengths and work towards achieving positive development outcomes.

You will fulfil your role in a person’s life with a never give up approach, and will compliment that of a wider mental health support network within the local community. Working alongside Community Psychiatric Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychology, Psychiatry, and other agencies.

The service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and full time you will work hours each week on a rota which may include early shifts, late shifts, over-night sleep in shifts, waking night shifts, weekends, late shifts and on-call cover.

**Experience and skills required**:

- **Good communications skills both verbally and recording**
- **IT skills with the ability to adapt to various recording and reporting systems**

It would be preferable to drive and have access to a vehicle.
