**Job Title: Digital Marketing Apprentice**

Reports to: Group HR Manager

About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and creative Digital Marketing Apprentice to join our team and support marketing activities across the full Patersons group. This is a brand-new role and an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while developing a broad range of digital marketing skills. You will work closely with the Managers in each part of the group and wider team to execute campaigns, create content, and drive brand engagement across multiple platforms.

As this is an apprenticeship it is a good starting point for individuals who may not yet have formal qualifications but are enthusiastic, nurturing, and willing to learn. You will receive support and training to help you build your skills and confidence through the Apprenticeship programme with our learning provider QA.

This is a brand new role for Patersons Quarries so it is a real opportunity to make it your own and work across a group of companies with different specialities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and schedule content across various social media channels to increase engagement and brand awareness.
- Support content creation, including writing blogs, website copy and social media posts.
- Assist in website updates and optimisation to enhance user experience and improve search rankings.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for brand growth.
- Monitor and report on digital marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and CRM systems.
- Help design and edit marketing materials using graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Collaborate with different departments across the group to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to contribute fresh ideas to the marketing strategy.

What We’re Looking For:

- A passion for digital marketing and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- An understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles (desirable but not essential).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills (desirable but not essential).

Please note this role is an entry level role for an apprentice including gaining an apprenticeship in Digital Marketing, therefore apprentice pay scales will initially apply.
