**We’re looking for a Fun and enthusiastic Customer Service Host** to to join our busy Spa and Health Club.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Host looking to develop within the leisure industry. The Club boasts an impressive 50000 square foot floor space which is located over four floors of a converted mill building. The Club has invested 5 million pounds into refurbishing and extending the gym and spa facilities and now holds a world class spa facility and swimming pool.
Customer Service Host presents a positive first impression of the Day Spas friendliness, excellent service and high standards. The Customer Service Host will greet Guests upon arrival, inform Guests of how their day will run, monitor the check ins, enter Guests into the computer system as they check in, show Guests around the facilities and bid Guests farewell as they check out
A Customer Service Host must be able to carry natural conversation with Guests without sounding scripted or intrusive. Additionally, the Host cares for our Guests by checking they have everything they may need and performs light housekeeping duties such as checking the towel and robe supply for check ins and making sure the spa is spotless. As a member of an energetic team, the Host/Hostess may also need to answer the phones and help the cafe when needed. Availability must include evenings and weekends.
**General Responsibilities of a Customer Service Host**:
- Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
- Inform Guest of current promotions
- Answer incoming calls to the Day Spa and provide appropriate service
- Manage the flow of Guests into the café and treatment areas
- Tend to special Guest needs and requests eg birthdays / hen partys
- Observant to Guests' needs throughout the experience
- Help cafe staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
**Customer Service Host Requirements**:
- Must have an understanding of beauty treatments we offer
- Must be able to clearly communicate Guests' needs
- Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to Guests
- Must be able to understand requests for assistance
- A desire to help out where needed and work as part of a team
- Passion for providing extraordinary service
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- An appetite for learning
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive
- Must be able to assist Guests and possess great Guest relations skills
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand/walk and stay focused and alert for extended periods of time
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone.
**Hours and Salary**:
- £20,350 PA OTE £22,900
- Full time 40hrs pw
- Will include weekend so flexibility is required
- 8 hr shifts working a shift pattern combining early and late shifts
- Regular pay reviews
