An established, forward thinking food manufacturing business is seeking an additional Team Leader to join their team at their Worcester based state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. With the organisation operating in multiple locations around the planet,employing thousands of people and turning over in excess of 1 billion Euro’s is quite a statement to say the least.
Having recently invested millions of euros in new machinery, the intent is quite clear where the future oozes opportunity for those looking to carve a career with a leading, employer of choice in Worcestershire.
Working hours: Full Time (shift pattern 4 on 4 off rotating between days and nights.)
The daily responsibilities of a Team Leader will be:
Ensure all changes to operations and equipment within your area are risk assessed and prepared to immediately challenge, eradicate or escalate unsafe acts or conditions.
Ensure all area equipment is maintained to a high standard.
Quality control and check all products in your area ensuring all H&S and company policies are followed correctly.
Ensure the line is operating to the required standards and line/process speeds at all times to enable the operational targets to be hit.
Control Waste and record on internal systems.
Identify problems in your area throughout the shift and escalate concerns to shift leader when it is not possible to resolve yourself.
Communicate with your team members throughout the line to ensure the smooth running of the shift.
Any other tasks requested by the shift leader.
The requirements of a Team Leader will be:
Previous experience working within manufacturing, ideally food, and ability to work independently will be essential.
High attention to detail and a pro-active approach.
High level of Verbal and Written communication.
A level of dexterity will be needed to complete tasks associated with this role.
Team Leader role is on a permanent basis being paid between £27k to £31k
