The Events Officer supports the events operation of the charity, which sees events across the UK from March to October and supports exhibitions and the planning of events through the winter. You will need experience in planning and delivering events. It is also desirable to have some experience in either a charity or educational context. Any experience in motorsport would also be an advantage.

Preferred
- Experience in planning and delivering events
- General office administration and event registration
- Excellent IT capabilities (Microsoft office, Excel etc). Able to do event result data analysis.
- Working with external and internal stakeholders

Desirable
- Experience in an educational setting or background in creating curriculum-based content
- Managing and recruiting volunteers
- Involvement with motorsport either as a competitor or marshal license under Motorsport UK.

Person requirements:

- Self-starter, able to use initiative and stay calm during busy event periods
- Ability to work with a broad range of individuals, including students and teachers
- Commitment, drive and a strong team player but also able to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Be prepared to work event week days and weekends (including overnight stays) for which time off in lieu is given
- Have a full UK driving licence
- Drive Greenpower vehicles to/from event locations
- Be able to undertake physical work/heavy lifting pertaining to events
- Be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check organised by Greenpower

Job type: Full time with full time hours (9am - 5pm)

Holiday - 20 days

**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
