We are a Nationwide Company specialising in Smart Home and Automation Technologies.
We are looking to recruit a confident, self-driven Trainee Sales Administrator to work in our West Midlands Offices to work alongside and assist our Sales and Technical team on a full-time basis.
Duties as follows:
- Processing sales orders, quotations and proformas using sage 200.
- Answering the phone to customers in order to process sales orders/enquires.
- Liaise with our despatch/stock manager regarding any stock issues (requesting products to be ordered in).
- Be able to provide a high level of customer service.
- Chase up quotations and pro-formas in order to boost sales income.
- Communicate with suppliers as and when required.
- Generate business sales through telephone and provide suitable support follow up communications with customers.
- Keep a high level of communications with customers in relation to stock updates.
- Offer sound sales support via online chat services.
- Work within the team and provide key information using our companies team channel.
- Attend the showroom counter to offer sales support as and when required.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following the company health & safety policy and adhering to company policies.
- Good administration and PC skills are essential.
- Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of Sage would be ideal but not necessary as training will be provided
- Attention to detail must be excellent and able to work on their own initiative as well as work as part of a team.
- Problem solving skills.
Reporting to: Internal Sales Manager.
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
**Salary**: National minimum/living wage.
Duties of this role will be reviewed on a regular basis.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £4.81-£9.50 per hour
