Senior CAD Technician - Hemel Hempstead | £30,000-£40,000
Senior CAD Technician looking to work for a multi-disciplinary working across a wide range of sectors, both public and private? Hoping to receive high-quality training and mentorship toward EngTech or other career-related goals?
We are actively recruiting for a multi-discipline property and construction firm, that consults throughout all stages of a project. They look to bring creativity to every job no matter the size, with a goal of adding value at every stage. Working on large £20million schemes to small-scale projects across the UK in multiple different sectors, such as commercial, R&D, energy and residential will make the job very exciting, with no two projects being the same.
The successful Senior CAD Technician will be joining a strong team in the Hemel Hempstead office, which has roughly 50 members of staff. You'll receive support and training toward Chartered Technician status, with mock interviews and appraisals. There is noceiling when joining this consultancy, with a passion for promoting within and developing the careers of their staff.

The successful Senior CAD Technician will have some post-graduate experience working within a consultancy environment.
Some of the responsibilities and requirements of this Senior CAD Technician position include:

- Assist and carry out structural designs in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
- Work closely with other team members, reporting to the Project Director.
- Be responsible for accurate structural designs drawings and calculations
- Manage deadlines and organise work, whilst keeping a positive attitude.
- Competent when using engineering software.
- Liaise confidently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
