As a **Platform Systems Administrator**, you'll join a **dynamic platform team** responsible for managing the core systems that power our business. You'll play a key role in ensuring these systems are **resilient, secure, and scalable**, working closely with development teams, third-party suppliers, and stakeholders across the business. **WHATS THE ROLE**
- Oversee **live **and** **non-production environments**, **ensuring they are secure, stable, and running optimally.
- Assist in planning and installing patches and updates, preparing everything for smooth deployments.
- Participate in significant projects migrating our products to the core platform, ensuring availability, refreshing environments, and capturing key performance metrics.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the platform supports their goals effectively.
- Contribute to ensuring a resilient, compliant, and secure platform while participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain operational excellence and achieve KPIs set by management.
- Engage in proactive monitoring and maintenance of the platforms to ensure uptime and performance.
- Document procedures and keep track of the production and non-production environments.

**WHAT YOU CAN OFFER**
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Servers and Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of writing and running SQL queries, and some basic administration and troubleshooting experience with MS SQL Server, including backup and restoration.
- Strong technical knowledge of Linux commands.
- A strong customer service ethic to ensure collaboration across teams and with clients.
- Problem-solving mindset to tackle challenges with agility and resilience.
- Excellent organisational skills to clearly outline next steps and deliverables.
- Authentic communication skills to foster trust and engagement within the team.
