Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the financial control of the contracts that you are allocated from inception to completion and will be expected to run multiple projects concurrently. You will be working across sectors fromnew build housing to General Construction projects. Responsibilities will include: " Identifying new trade contractors " Meeting and explaining the Homes culture and 'all-risk' packaging " Obtaining prices on standard house types on partnering agreement " Improving Relationships with existing Trade Contractors, resolving issues that may arise and communicating requirements " Tendering for 'all-risk' Road, Sewers and Plot works and negotiating the best value packages " Ensuring completed Developments are adopted by statutory authorities " Procuring work packages for new sites " Creating sub contract comparisons for sign off " Holding and leading pre-start meetings with sub-contractors and issuing arising minutes " Issuing sub contract orders with associated PAVs and schedules " Placement of plant orders upon receipt of requisitions " Ensuring timely delivery of technical and design information " Producing feasibilities for land negotiations " Update feasibilities throughout the planning process " Produce detailed cost plan for inclusion " Produce Site-start Budget and annual 'Bible' costs " Investigate commercial viability of all modern methods of construction " Cost-to-complete Reporting " Manage the implantation of new house types " Support and assist as necessary with the group drive for efficiency savings " Ensure trade specifications are current and comply with building regulations
