Support Consultant

**The role**
We are looking for a talented individual who is excited by our next generation technology to work within our Support team and deliver excellent customer service.
This role is office based. We are currently adopting hybrid working, with a minimum of 2 days per week to be spent working from our office in Glastonbury.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Through developing an understanding of our academic products, you will help diagnose, investigate, and resolve customer issues.
- Through regular communication, you can develop a trusting relationship with our customers, allowing you to not only resolve issues but provide advice on how they can get the best out of our products through functionality and best practice.
- By collaborating with the team and other departments to promote the sharing of knowledge and information, you can make sure the customer gets the best possible experience.
- Working alongside our Customer Account Managers, you will use your direct communications with schools to keep customer and personal records up to date.
- By meeting individual and team targets, you can contribute to the department’s and ultimately the company’s, continued success.
**Technical requirements**
You should have the following skills and experience:
- Previous work in a call centre or similar customer support role
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
Although not essential, it would be beneficial to have:
- Previous experience in an academic or school environment
- Previous experience of working for a software company
- An understanding of management information systems
**Personal requirements**
You should have the following qualities and experience:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Great personal organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under your own steam with mínimal supervision
- Aptitude for structured and analytical thinking and problem solving
- Working as part of a team to achieve team targets and goals
- An ability and willingness to absorb new aspects of technology
**Working hours**
The Support Team work on a rota system to cover different shift patterns, allowing us to support both our UK and International customers.
Operating hours to cover UK customers:
- Early shift = 8am to 4.30pm
- Standard shift = 8.45am to 5.15pm
Operating hours to cover International customers:
- Night shift = 1am to 9.30am
- Sunday shift = 6am to 2pm
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
